FTS Welcomes Bjarne Hansen as Senior AML/CFT Advisor

 

We are so excited to welcome Bjarne Hansen to the FTS team! Bjarne joins us as our Senior AML/CFT Advisor, bringing a wealth of experience from his previous roles at international governmental organizations such as the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Bank, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the United Nations Office on Combating Drugs and Crime (UNODC).

In these roles, Bjarne has advised and assisted jurisdictions on AML/CFT National Risk Assessments, implementation of FATF recommendations and best practices, training, capacity building, technical assistance (including for financial supervisors and FIUs), financial inclusion, measures to mitigate illicit financial flows, and research on the nature and extent of ML and TF risks.

Bjarne holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Aarhus University. His skills and expertise will be a tremendous addition to our projects and work on the Strix AML software suite.
