🔍 2025 Breaking Changes – Focus #4: AI Thresholds!

Now you can ask Strix to suggest initial thresholds for your data. Strix now saves supervisors time doing the most challenging task of making ‘relative risk’ assessments.

Supervisors benefit: preselection of thresholds based on Methods:

✔️ Equal grouping of entities per bucket

✔️ Linear assignment of thresholds

✔️ Scaled thresholds for non uniform data

while still giving the opportunity for manual or custom threshold selection.

✔️ Get the right help to fill out forms
✔️ Reduces burden on Registry and Entity List Management
✔️ Provides temporary and limited access

Supervisors benefit: Access forms as a Test User
✔️ Sector totals exclude Test User data
✔️ Cleaner survey reporting statistics
✔️ Add a Test User after a survey is sent

These benefits provide conveniences to supervisors by streamlining submissions, improving response rates and response times, and improving understanding of survey response statistics.

🔍 2025 Breaking Changes – Focus #2: Sum and Equation Facts in Survey

Another major enhancement as part of the Strix Breaking Changes release, Sum Facts and Equation Facts can be sent along with a survey and be used for Data Validation in-form.

Existing Strix clients receive the following major benefits in their next update:

Survey Sum and Equation Facts

✔️ Expanded Data Validation

Control information collected twice in different ways, such as breakdown by client type equals breakdown by risk rating

✔️ Show Sum of data points in-form

Ensures form fillers are aware of inter-relation of data.  Capable of retaining breakdown detail of summands.

✔️ Show a calculated formula in-form

Gives on-screen feedback of data from input processed real-time.  Cablable of being used for Data Validation of other questions.

These capabilities are surprisingly powerful and significantly improve the quality of data collected –> Notalbly multiple data validation parent/child families are possible using the same source data field.

More updates from the Breaking Changes series will follow shortly.

✨We are proud to announce the successful completion of our inaugural Strix User Conference, held in London, on the 16th/17th Oct. 2025.

The event brought together 12 Strix superusers from six Authorities – CIMA and CIIPA of Cayman Islands, FSA of Isle of Man, AMSF of Monaco, the Central Bank of The Bahamas, and FNTT of Lithuania, each contributing valuable insights, sharing their experiences, and strengthening collaboration within the Strix community.

Their active participation made the conference an enriching exchange of knowledge and ideas, not only with FTS but between authorities. The event included the presentation of an interesting innovation from #AMSF of a downstream automated system for large-scale inspections of survey submissions for data consistency, a major time savings with a !wow! factor.

This milestone marks an important step in fostering closer partnerships with our users and ensuring that Strix continues to evolve in line with real-world needs and operational priorities.

We extend our sincere thanks to all participants for their in person attendance, engagement, and trust. Your contributions were fundamental in making the event such a success.

We look forward to continuing this dialogue and to welcoming even more partners at the next Strix User Conference.

FTS submitted feedback to the European Banking Authority (EBA) recently as part of their invitation for public comment on its Proposed Regulatory Technical Standards, as part of the EU’s evolving AMLA mandates.

A total of 108 institutions and companies provided feedback.

We attach here our comments, this time WITH DIAGRAMS – which were not possible to include in the EBA format.

On review of the draft methodology:
Strix is well aligned with the proposed methodology. From the level of detail provided thus far by EBA, the new methodology appears to be easily accommodated in Strix as simply another of our offered calculation methods available (AMLA will be the 4th method captured in Strix).

There are many aspects of Strix that make it fit-for-AMLA, and EU authorities specifically would benefit from a ready-to-go solution given the timelines to implement thus far indicated by EBA.
