Software Project Manager / Product Consultant

The Employee will be a software project life cycle manager. This will include giving demos, draft proposals, managing day-to-day project activities including client communication, preparing the client’s host working environment, provide steering feedback to FTS software developers to adapt tool to client’s needs and operating environment, definition of client interfaces, performing post-installation verification procedures on-site (interfaces, functionality, and accuracy), and internal project reporting and planning. Additionally, as possible, Employee shall perform tasks involving quality assurance of FTS products, organizing expert and peer reviews, company development (e.g. internal procedures, websites), and product advertisement and representation, and support to product improvement or new product development. Expected travel < 20% (CV-19 pending).

FTS works as a small team in an attractive workspace and office location, offers flex time, and a competitive salary and benefits dependent on qualifications and motivation. The legal minimum wage for Austria for this position is EURO 49,910 p.a., however FTS is expecting 80K+ to ensure a competent skillset fulfillment.

  • 8+ years’ experience in IT industry in areas of developer, product owner, and/or project manager with agile project management tools
  • Program or project management experience with successful track record for enterprise software in the financial industry, preferably with international business-to-business or business-to-government clients
  • Experience with rollouts of enterprise applications
  • Experience with operation support of enterprise applications
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Software Stack
    • MS Windows Server, SQL Server, Microsoft Azure
    • .NET core programming, EF Core
  • Experience with integration of software in existing heterogenous environments
  • Experience with Requirement Engineering with focus on:
    • Product Software Development
    • Individual Software Development
    • API Definitions
    • Experience with Quality Assurance: Definition of Test strategies
    • Using Test Tools (UI, Test Studio for manual Tests, etc.)
  • Authentication processes (OAuth, LDAP)
  • Location Vienna, must be permitted to work in Austria
  • English working language
  • Bachelor degree in an applicable Information Technology area
  • Data privacy experience/knowledge
  • Encryption usage/experience
    Sound business understanding
  • Experience developing and / or using Financial Enterprise Software in financial industry or
    financial supervisor/regulator preferably related to AML or CFT compliance
  • Working familiarity with government reporting requirements
  • Familiarity with Supervision surveys
  • Experience with Scrum development process
  • MTA certificates
  • Enterprise software: Business.

FTS Financial Transparency Solutions GmbH (FTS) is a new, emerging SupTech (Supervisory Technology) industry software provider designing and building Anti-Money Laundering software tools for Supervisory Authorities. FTS has a vision of designing and building state-of-the-art software in the area of financial crime prevention. A baseline product, Strix AML, is already commercially available but must be customized for each client’s specific needs and operating environment. FTS has a current need and is expecting further growth.
